Without water, there wouldn’t be life. It is an essential element in our bodies, and lack of it can make us sick or even kill us. Having running water in our homes is a great convenience, especially since there are so many things we do every day that require water. While not everyone necessarily likes drinking water, and might choose to drink some other liquid instead, there is no good replacement for water.
Do you know, though, if your drinking water is good quality or not? If you are connected to a municipal water system, you should receive regular updates on which pollutants can be found in your water, what the acceptable levels are and if you should be concerned. Some choose to add their personal filtration system to their drinking water to protect themselves.
If you have a well, you are responsible for the water quality, and you might need to send a sample to a lab to test it and find out if anything needs to be done about it.
